UPCOMING CHANGES: In our ongoing commitment to keeping students and staff safe, the Irwin County School District will implement a CLEAR or MESH bag policy starting the first day of the upcoming school year. We understand that students involved in sports, band, and other extracurricular activities may need to bring items like bat bags, instrument cases, or overnight bags. Procedures will be in place to ensure these items are properly checked or securely stored during the school day. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work together to prioritize safety on our campuses.

Irwin County Schools will have a virtual learning day tomorrow, January 23, 2025. With freezing temperatures expected this evening, we anticipate the risk of ice on the roads, creating potentially dangerous travel conditions. Students are asked to complete any work packets that teachers sent home on Tuesday and/or check their Google Classroom accounts for any assignments posted by their teachers. The safety of our students, staff, and community remains our top priority. We hope everyone enjoys the snow and stays safe and warm!
