Fifth Grade Attends Ag Day

Ag Day at ICHSFifth grade students from ICES attended Ag Day at the high school on March 23, where they learned about agriculture and how it relates to our everyday lives, about livestock, farming, agriculture industries, careers, how to become a member of Middle School FFA, and more. Irwin County High School students assisted with this years' Ag Day.

Kindergarten Registration

Play, Learn, GrowKindergarten Registration and Screening will be held on April 25-26 from 12:00 until 2:30 for those students who are planning to attend Kindergarten at ICES for the 2017-18 school year. Please call 468-9476 to make an appointment. Students must be 5 on or before September 1.

Please bring the following with you:

  • Child's Social Security Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Record
  • Eye, Ear and Dental Screening Certificate

Murrell Wins Gift Basket

Gift Basket WinnerMaria Murrell was the winner of the National School Breakfast Week drawing at ICES.  Students were required to eat breakfast every day and have their punch card stamped, then those students' names were put into a drawing for the gift basket. Congratulations, Maria!

MAKE THE CALL AND STOP VIOLENCE IN YOUR SCHOOL

The 1-877-SAY-STOP toll- free hotline was created by the Georgia Department of Education. Students can anonymously report anyone who has a weapon, has threatened to bring a weapon to school, or has violated any other school safety rules. The hotline hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; after 5 p.m. all calls will be forwarded to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Callers will not be asked to reveal their identities. Make the call; you can make a difference!
