ICES 14th Annual Talent Showcase

This year's Talent Showcase will be on Thursday, March 7, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm at the Irwin County Auditorium at the ICHS campus. Any K-5 student interested in showing off their talent may audition. Auditions will be held on February 20, and there must be a completed and signed application before students may audition. Acts must be 3 minutes or less in length and must be appropriate for the school environment. After-school rehearsals will be held at the auditorium on days to be announced. Each participant in the showcase MUST attend at least one practice.

MAKE THE CALL AND STOP VIOLENCE IN YOUR SCHOOL

The 1-877-SAY-STOP toll- free hotline was created by the Georgia Department of Education. Students can anonymously report anyone who has a weapon, has threatened to bring a weapon to school, or has violated any other school safety rules. The hotline hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; after 5 p.m. all calls will be forwarded to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Callers will not be asked to reveal their identities. Make the call; you can make a difference!
