2017-18 Pre-K Orientation Phase 1

If your child has been accepted into the 2017-18 Pre-K Program at Irwin County Schools, you will need to attend one of the MANDATORY final registration sessions listed below to complete the necessary paperwork for your child to start school on August 4. It will take approximately 45 minutes to complete the paperwork.

Young Authors and Illustrators

Mrs. Walker's ClassMrs. Walker and Mrs. Wilson's Kindergarten Class became the author and illustrator of their very own  book titled "What I like about Kindergarten." The class worked very hard all year long learning their letters, sounds, and blending sounds together to say words, and reading many, many books.

Fifth Grade Attends Ag Day

Ag Day at ICHSFifth grade students from ICES attended Ag Day at the high school on March 23, where they learned about agriculture and how it relates to our everyday lives, about livestock, farming, agriculture industries, careers, how to become a member of Middle School FFA, and more. Irwin County High School students assisted with this years' Ag Day.

Toll-Free School Safety Hotline

The 1-877-SAY-STOP toll- free hotline was created by the Georgia Department of Education. Students can anonymously report anyone who has a weapon, has threatened to bring a weapon to school, or has violated any other school safety rules. The hotline hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; after 5 p.m. all calls will be forwarded to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Callers will not be asked to reveal their identities.
