Welcome to Irwin County Elementary School!

In consultation with our local pediatrician, Dr. Conner, Irwin County Schools have decided to require all students and staff to wear some type of facial covering. For students who have medical issues and if parents feel their child needs something different other than a mask, please contact your child’s principal. Thank you and stay safe!

Grab your binoculars, ready your cameras, and hop in the car! In collaboration with Irwin County Elementary School, Irwin County Library will be hosting a Wildlife Safari Tour in honor of their upcoming “Tails & Tales” Summer Reading Program on May 8th, 2021 from 10 12 p.m. Signs at the school will direct you to the entrance for this drive-thru style tour. Meet the zookeepers, receive goodies from the animals, and snag a bagged lunch on your way out. This event is free and open to all ages!

For the safety of the staff, participants, and the wild animals handing out incentives, all participants are asked to stay in their vehicles at all times. So mark your calendars, load up the family, and ride on down to Irwin County Elementary School!
