Welcome to Irwin County Elementary School!

In consultation with our local pediatrician, Dr. Conner, Irwin County Schools have decided to require all students and staff to wear some type of facial covering. For students who have medical issues and if parents feel their child needs something different other than a mask, please contact your child’s principal. Thank you and stay safe!

The fifth-grade math classes completed a project to learn about volume. Each student built a city, then used the length, width, and height to figure out the volume of all of the buildings in the city. This sort of project shows students the real-world applications of the concepts they learn in class, and the results are very creative! The finished results are on display in the media center.
